Several years in the making, Refuge marks David’s return to the role of full-time Worship Leader and Pastor. His first single release, “More Than Ever” (duet with Michael O’Brien), entered the top 25 chart and has received wide viewership as a video promoted by Focus on the Family’s CitizenLink and the Alliance Defense Fund. Among the ten tracks are David’s first foray into corporate worship music with “The Cross of Calvary” (selected by Worship Leader Magazine for their 100th SongDISCovery release) and “Make Us Ready”. Recorded in both California and Nashville, credits include John Andrew Schreiner and Reed Pittman (Francesca Battistelli) on keys, Norm Stockton (Lincoln Brewster) on bass and Steve Brewster on drums. In addition to John Schreiner and Craig Willougby’s production, David also enlisted the assistance of Producer team Brandon Perdue and Kevin Bruchert (Jessa Anderson).
